In a major push toward modern governance and digital transformation, the Punjab government<\/strong> has announced that all government offices across the province will transition to a completely paperless system starting July 1.<\/strong><\/p>

According to official details, the initiative is aimed at strengthening e-governance and upgrading the traditional administrative structure on modern, technology-driven lines. Under this reform, all government departments will be integrated into an \u201ce-Filing and Office Automation System\u201d<\/strong>, marking a significant step toward a fully digital public sector.<\/p>

The decision was taken during a high-level meeting held at the Civil Secretariat in Lahore,<\/strong> chaired by the Chief Secretary of Punjab<\/strong> and attended by all provincial secretaries.<\/p>

Officials<\/strong> have directed that, from the effective date, all field offices will be required to conduct official correspondence and administrative work exclusively through the digital system.<\/p>
