Iran Says It Targeted Israeli Airbase with Ballistic Missiles

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for the attack, stating that its missiles targeted the Ramat David Airbase in northern Israel. According to the IRGC, the operation was carried out in response to recent Israeli military actions in Lebanon and formed part of what it described as a broader retaliatory campaign.

Israeli authorities confirmed that air defense systems were engaged to intercept incoming projectiles, though official assessments regarding damage and casualties were still being reviewed at the time of reporting.
